The TV series "Mission: Afghanistan" is a story of the 2nd platoon soldiers of the first mechanized infantry division from Wędrzyn, under the command of a young officer - Lieutenant Paweł Konaszewicz. Konaszewicz struggles with the label of "backpack" - it is said that he got the position thanks to the protection of his father - a retired general. His main antagonist is Lieutenant Sting - commander of the 1st platoon. The tension between the officers can be noted from their first meeting and rivalry over a woman, Lieutenant Justyna Winnicka, does not help to settle the conflict. Zbój, Iwan, Mamut, Malbor, Biskup and Młody - these are the 2nd platoon soldiers under the command of Konasza - each of them carrying a different inner war. None of them goes on patrol assuming that he could die. They were preparing for this for months, for years. However, can you prepare yourself for death? Or for taking someone's life?
