Opis

The son of a hunter falls asleep counting the leaping deer. One shot, the second a little bleeding, limping a third runs away from the clearing. And corners, like every night, rising from the boy's head, tearing a pillow. Morning father again will abhor him.

"Deer Boy" is taking place on the border between fairy tales and horror story about instincts. The first hunt. The blood and nature. Parental sensitivity is intertwined here with disgust, dream and reality, and the children's sensitivity to the science of killing. The film is narrated animal sounds, not allowing any of the words trapped in the form. Deer jump over the head of the sleeping boy. One of them you will eventually kill.
